The Late Kick showing GT some love...again.

Our second best bet is Brent Venables leaves. Alabama has been a good source for Clemson coaches, both Danny Ford and Frank Howard are Tide alumni. Our big hurdle is finding enough smart football players.

The Late Kick showing GT some love...again.

I liked Paul Johnson. He was an excellent offensive coach, but he was at best an average recruiter with average assistance coaches. Collins can recruit very well. To be a winner, he needs very good assistance coaches and keep team morale high. At least IMHO, academic standards are more likely...

Well look who’s in ESPN’s Power Ranking Top 25 & not in 15th place in ACC

Curry's team the year before only won one game but tied No. 1 Notre Dame. His teams were giant killers but couldn't beat anyone else.

Jahmyr Gibbs IS WARMING UP ON THE FIELD IN TALLAHASSEE

Calvin Johnson was incredibly a four star coming out of high school. All of his five star rating were save face scores after the fact.

Article Jackets Brought the Juice to Tallahassee

The team needs to stay grounded, but we fans ought to scream it from the rooftops about this giant win especially after last year. Its been a long time since we displayed a good passing offence. Jeff Sims could have folded after those two interception or could have pulled from the game by Dave...

Jahmyr Gibbs IS WARMING UP ON THE FIELD IN TALLAHASSEE

You are dead on. We ought to be thankful, there was a game and we won without a lot of key players. This is going to be a strange season during strange times. We got to learn to accept what we can't change or just get comatose drunk.

    Starting QB speculation

Whoever the coaches pick is fine with me. I think they all have potential. I am surprised at all the votes for Yates. My vote was for Graham just because he has some experience. I think Sims may be starting at the end of the season.

An Optimistic look at the 2020 season

With the possible exception of TE, Collins's staff have the parts to develop a good offence over the next 2 to 3 years. They have recruited well at QB, OL, WR, and RB. The next steps all heavily involve coaching: player development and designing an effective offence.

An Optimistic look at the 2020 season

Ralph Friedgen was OC at Maryland under Bobby Ross from 1982 to 1987. Maryland won the ACC title in 1983, 84, and 85. After the Len Bias's death that greatly disrupted the entire Maryland Athletic Department, Friedgen followed Ross to GT for the 1987 season. Together Ross, Friedgen, and O'Leary...

Time to use this title. Pressley Harvin :(

Mods, could all of polictical and Covid 19 stuff be moved to the political thread. With a few exceptions, we don't much about football, but at least this is the place for it. We know even less about the other stuff, but please put it where it belongs.

I don't know the death rate on Churches, but you have large groups inside with very little spacing. Even with facemasts on, IMHO, it is prefect setting for spreading COVID-19. The death rate in Churches may be low because most have been closed.
