Assuming he returns, Devoe will be our best returning player and best outside shooter. We may be a decent team without him, but we will be a much better team with him.

If you can't be optimistic preseason, when are you going to be. I think Coleman can be a very good freshman, maybe great. I agree that Devoe's return is very important, but we some other potential good outside shooters and Pastner has been ACC coach of the year before.

Even if Moses, Jose, and Michael don't return, we will have 8 talented players returning and 4 new recruits. We will have three experienced seniors in Jordan, Bubba, and Khalid. We are loaded with talent at point guard and the wing positions. We are certainly not a lock to make the NCAAs, but...

I agree Haytham wasn't using calculus, but a method that evolved into intergration. I am no math or physics expert but I knew Newton used calculus in the late 1600's to derive his formulas for gravitation and mechanics.

According to Wikipedia Sir Isaac Newton's was using calculus in 1666. 11th-century Arab mathematician Ibn al-Haytham (Alhazen) was using integration to derive a formula for the sum of fourth powers.

I think Devin is a nonscholarship player. He just got his degree. Wish him well at Austin Peay.

In the 1960's SEC fans used to say that the NCAA would get so mad at Alabama's cheating that they would put Kentucky on probation. In the ACC I guess we are the whipping boy for Duke and UNC. Hopefully our current probation is our total punishment for the cheaters.

I assume if we don’t go after a big man, the coaches believe that feel that Howard, Meka, and Gigiberia can fill the role. No transfer big will certainly help the young guys develop quicker.
