Just a sad day for me. I thought Clemson would hang on for a while since they were a charter member of the ACC. I remember how excited I was when I went to BDS after they raised the ACC Flags. Since I was in school for 2 of our last 4 years in the SEC, I was very happy to see GT back in a...
Sorry, here are the attachments. These pages cover both some of the 140 rule and the re-admission situation. Ray Graves claims that UGA and Auburn were the main objectors. Over the years, I have tried to find the actual vote by school for re-admission with no luck. If anyone has more info...
The attached article may be of interest. This is by Ralph Russo of the AP. He presents the same basic theme as Pat Forde, but has a little more concerning the ACC and Big 12. A Fort Worth reporter contributed to article.
I absolutely agree that our ACC leadership needs to be more...
Attached is the article by Pat Forde of SI concerning the proposed CFP. He obviously has some strong feeling about the situation. He goes into the issue of the possibility of the SEC and B1G breaking from the NCAA. He also covers the two automatic byes for the SEC and B1G.
Apparently, this...
Take a look at the attached article Reference Clemson and South Carolina coaches attending a SC Legislative Committe meeting concerning NIL and Student/Athlete payments. This is a committee only approval. I would like to see the details. The article mentions more involvement in NIL selection...
I really enjoy all the comments concerning the state of affairs concerning the ACC and GT.
As a counter move to the B1G and SEC Advisory Committee, would there be any merit for the ACC to work with the Big 12 and form our own Advisory Committee? At least we would look like we are making an...
I went with 7-5, but hope for 8-4 with an improved D. I believe I read in the AJC that our new Defensive Coordinator will have a base D of 4-2-5. We need the 4 down lineman. We don't usually get the really big athletic down linemen needed in the 3 down.
I believe one of Key's strongest assets is his ability to organize and manage practice. I always watch the ACC Network visit to GT during fall practice. During the last fall practice of TFG, I mostly saw players standing around tossing the ball to each other.
During the ACC visit this past...
For me, the best was 1962 versus Alabama (7-6). Second best was1966 versus Tennessee (6-3). The intensity of the fans was unbelievable, particularly in the 1962 Alabama Grudge match! Two great southern defensive battles!
See attachment showing the Filing by FSU. Has some interesting info about the escalatory amount of 4.5% per year and the issue of whether or not the Presidents approved the extension of the Tier One rights until 2036. As I said, I am not a lawyer, so I might be misunderstanding some of this!
I apologize for the above. I could not properly attach the filing. Could only attach the first page. The filing can be found online in the Tallahassee Democrat.
I will see if I can still attach some way.
Reference the FSU case against the ACC, I have attached the 38-page filing. Maybe some of our GT lawyers can take a look and give an opinion as to likely success by FSU.
Much of the case seems to be about mismanagement by the ACC and Commissioner Swofford. One point that was of interest...
