One is an obvious running into or roughing the kicker which was ignored on a punt, and the other is an intentional downing by ND that was very obvious because...

The line drive punts seem to me to be the result of poor blocking. I've noticed Shanahan kicks line drives when he's rushed. He's had a few almost blocked and did a good job just to kick the ball out of there.

A hurt King would not have given us a better chance to win than a healthy Pyron. That's why King was on the bench, or at least one of the reasons, including his need to heal up before seeing the field again.

I agree. To my mind playing hard is the most important but that's not to discount other aspects of the game, though I've never seen one that is free of mistakes. But there is room for improvement, to be sure.
