Hopefully he can start classes this summer and begin developing chemistry with his new teammates. That will be a key to our success this upcoming season.
Based on our last game, I wouldn't be surprised to see us play more man to man defense or at least mix it up more. Parham is on the small side (5'11" and 155lbs from his bio) so perhaps he is a good on ball defender.
I hope he is as good as advertised. I really thought Alvarado and Devoe...
Hopefully this is primarily to get feedback as to what he needs to work on to be a first round pick in 2020. IMO, he wouldn't be a first round pick and may be a mid to lower round pick in the 2nd round if he left this year. I can only hope that his academics aren't part of the reason for him...
It was Dave Cole, Fred Hall and Steve Neal. Neal was invited back to the team. I remember an article in the AJC with Fred commenting he didn't understand why he was not invited back to the team.
It would be nice to get contributing transfer in the mold of Brandon Alston, a grad transfer that has two years remaining can can play immediately. At least then CJP could keep balance with his recruiting classes.
I think the light bulb has gone off in Moses and we will see more consistent play from him next season. Having the starting lineup in yesterday's game play and develop additional chemistry during the offseason will result in a better team. Add Usher and the other players on the team gives us...
39 minutes again for Alvarado and Devoe. This does concern me. If not Phillips next season, hopefully we can find a good ball handling guard to given these guys some rest. Given the way guys play now, those kind of minutes are not sustainable over a long season.
Pretty good article by Ken Seguira regarding Wright's basketball journey and evolution during this season.

Here's hoping we continue to see improvement with him and the team...
You've been rightly tough on Moses but hopefully you can see the improvements he has made. I believe he is continues to apply himself to improve and focuses on bringing energy around the basket, he will be a good contributor the next two seasons.
Will definitely need to work on free throws after running laps. We missed more as they got tired. I recall during the Price years, we shot almost 100% from the FT line in the last 5 minutes of the game.
One would think that Phillips could be that rotational guard, given what he did at TN. Heck, he started at the beginning of this season so CJP obviously saw something in him. If he isn't a part of the rotation next year, it will be imperative to get another ball handling/hawking guard before...
I can agree with that rotation as there is a LOT of length, given CJPs emphasis on defense. With the exception of AD, this now becomes a veteran lineup. Hopefully this 8 can develop more chemistry over the off season and come back even hungrier when the season starts.
We got insight of this from a recent AJC article summarizing the UVA game. All the best for Sly going forward. It will be interesting to see how that roster spot is used.
Call me naive but I think Moses will surprise a lot of people next year. I like they way he has looked in the post in recent games. His defense is always there, he just needs to get under control on the offensive side.
With another offseason of workouts, I believe we will have a good rotation...
