Guys the OL is coached fine and there is nothing wrong with the scheme. The difference between 14 & 15 was at wide receiver. In 14 defenses had to account for two guys who could take the top off and that left a lot of running lanes. Last year we didn't have the experience to do that and it...

I am not worried about the OL IF we have a wide out or two step up and be able to press the defense deep. To me that is much more of a concern. I'm optimistic that it will happen and if it does we'll be fine running the ball.

The problem is not the scheme or technique of the OL in my opinion but the fact that we were young and not experienced enough to beat man coverage one on one at the wide out position. That allowed defenses to stack the box and bring more than we could block. We'll see if that gets better this year.

You're right you must have a good OL but I think the bigger problem last year was no deep threat at wide out. The defense was able to stack the line and always had us out numbered. Hopefully that gets better this year.

In my opinion the biggest problem we had on offense was not being able to stretch the D deep with our receivers mainly due to a lack of speed and experience. I see that getting better this year and future years.

The external assessments that evaluate our talent level are the recruiting ratings and they put us about where we've been rated on D. I don't put alot of stock in these numbers. I believe in our staff.
