They're operating, y'all.

My brothers and I were talking about option QB's this weekend, and we agreed that their QB is the best power option QB we've seen play.

The 4 best option qb's we came up with were:

Speed Version: Justin Thomas-GT
Power Version: Bryson Daily-Army
"Make the reads" Version: Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada-Navy
Overall: Tommie Frazier-Nebraska

Regardless, the kid from Army is a LOAD of an option QB. 6'0, 225 lb, runs HARD, fast enough to hurt you, makes the reads well enough, throws well enough to punish you if you overcommit against the run.

They've also got a load at FB in Kanye Udoh. Basically, a slightly smaller, vaster version of the QB. 6'0, 215, runs hard, and faster than Daily.

Between the two of them, they're a BRUTAL 1-2 combination inside, and they're perfectly happy to just bludgeon you inside with those two for 40 carries a game if you let them.

Really rough, pretty stuff.

On one hand, they’ve played a “forgiving” schedule. On the other hand, option teams have a habit of giving the big boys hell.

The Army v Notre Dame game could be interesting. Or, it could be a bloodbath

I wonder if the speed version or the power version of the option would do better against the tough ND defense.
