the bowl win provided a satisfying conclusion to a decent year, but a difficult two year period for football.
the UNC win provided an unexpected (should i say "exciting"?) foreshadowing for a long awaited resurgence in basketball.

I remember one of the worst days. January 5th 2010. Lost the Orange Bowl to Iowa and to Uga in basketball at the same damn time.....

But for the year it was the second best day for me.
