With UNC's loss today, Collins will now enter his fourth year without having beaten an FBS team that finished the year with a winning record. Prior to Collins' tenure, Tech had beaten at least one FBS team that finished with a winning record every year since 1994.

That was one of 2 reasons I was rooting for UNC to win. The other being I just wanted to see an SEC team lose to an ACC team. Instead the SEC gets its first win of the bowl season.
