My flight arrives back in Chicago at 8am and my sons are picking me up at the airport. Headed to South Bend to watch the Brave and Bold. Any one else braving the potentially cold weather up here? 1:30 kickoff

Flying in from Charlotte, so maybe some of you will be on my flight?
Enjoy it! I really had a blast there in 2015. Not the result... but the experience.

Aye, I’ll be there. I had a good time at the game against the Irish in 2015, despite the loss. I’ll probably still have a good time this year. It’s a fun game day experience. An upset would be fabulous.

LOVED my 2015 trip. One of my favorite GT road trips I've made...and we lost. Tells you how much fun I had, and how much I enjoyed the hospitality of South Bend and the Notre Dame fans. They were great hosts. If anyone is hesitating about going because of our record, and I know we are not doing well right now on the field, I say go and enjoy the experience. Well worth it.

In 2015, I walked through the tailgating area and a ND fan jumped in front of me, shook my hand, and said, “Welcome to Notre Dame. I hope you enjoy your time here.” It was 100% genuine and 100% classy.

Yep. We had many free drinks gifted by the Irish fans that day. Incredible experience. If it wasn’t so close to thanksgiving we’d be there this weekend.

2007 was a lot of fun. Tech put the worst home opening day loss to Notre Dame in their history. I remember the Tech fans started chanting Rudy Rudy. A few of the Notre Dame fans joined in on the fun. I think that was the high water mark for Chan Gailey.

I'll be there. Driving up to see my daughter and grandkids Friday night close to Indianapolis, then up to South Bend on Saturday with my dad and son-in-law. I have never been there so am excited to see the campus and the stadium.
Definitely a bucket list item for anybody who enjoys college football.

We’re going. Don’t know what team will show up but we’ll be cheering for the Jackets come he’ll or high water just the same. We were at the Gater Bowl way back when they played there and the ND Alumni we’re a great bunch to swap stories with. Hope to see y’all.

I was going to but life, wife and kids got in the way…. I can say my 2015 trip, even though we lost, was the best trip to an opposing teams stadium ever! Absolute bucket list stuff if your a college football fan. If it’s anyone’s first time, I promise you won’t regret it!

You might freeze you *** off tho. Lol.

If u can go!

Loved whole experince - pizza in Chicago, at casino w coaching staff, drive thru fall scene in indiana.
The friendly fan enviroment was high lited by their " old man at the game Ambassadors" .
They each had a nice dark green blazer. They would pleasntly make sure each person had directions etc . Plus they answered history questions about ND football.

Of all the teams we ever play ND has by far my favorite fanbase. They are good people and if you go you will definitely have a good time. I never understood the hate for the Irish that some people have because my interactions with that fanbase has always been wonderful. I can't despise a team that has fans that treat others that well. There are too many other fanbases that act like trash that give me teams to hate. : )
