could afford to go to a conference championship game (say if you were 600 miles away), then go to the Rose bowl site, then to Dallas?

I ask as I heard a similar discussion on the radio Friday. Some comments were made that someone might have to miss the conference game, etc.

I'd do it, if I could get the time off. But this isn't possible.

I'd love to go to the Rose Bowl! I've never been to Pasadena and the Tournament of Roses Parade looks like it would be fun to attend. Sort of like a cleaned-up California version of Mardi Gras.
