If the game's a "white out," and the team is looking at wearing white, like the fans, then coming out in white helmets with "honeycomb" patterns to match the ones on the jerseys are fine by me.

I actually love these helmets, but I wonder if they'd look better with thicker lines. It does look a bit like chicken wire. That being said, the pattern on the numbers looks bad.

Honeycomb helmets rock. Bubble wrap jerseys did not. Glad we kept the good and tossed the bad.

I like the helmets for a game or two a season. I'm with you-- the bubble wrap jersies...not as much. So, this works out. I think I'm comparing the "honeycomb" pattern stuff to some teams' "combat" style unis that look gun-metal grey, etc. So, for me this is a palatable alternative.

Overall, though, I'm a classic gold helmet sort of guy.

And, totally agree with the gold hats for most games but a white one for a few specific games.

Still my favorite look. Don't know if it's because of me being only 16 and Nesbitt is the closet I've ever go to Hamilton or not but I loved those UNIs.
