For some reason this may have slip my mind:
"It starts with the rotation, where neither redshirt senior lefty Devin Stanton nor senior righty Cole Pitts participated.
Stanton was held out of summer league competition as well as fall practice after feeling a little bit of shoulder discomfort early in the summer ("it's nothing he had to have surgery on. It was just wear and tear of pitching," said Hall), while Pitts is coming back from Tommy John surgery (according to Hall, he is ahead of schedule in coming back and is throwing bullpens off the mound)."
Pitching is key (duh) and us fans won't know for a while how these two are doing after the long lay off. Most come back better than before is what I think I've read. But it may take till warmer weather to know what we really have. They are the senior leadership we'll need to do well.
