For coaches it has always been "Up or Out"
Ncaa run by college prez failed to tax bowl season teams - reduced scholarships. This lead to concentration in a few mega p5, which tv advertisers loved with $$$$$.
The huge $$ were spread around but never made it to players. The not really p5 schools could pretend, but the divide was 2 great .
Now the split will be painful
