Where were you the last time we beat UT?

I was a senior in 1986, and I was there when Grant Field erupted in a joyful explosion when UT's kicker slipped and missed a game winning field goal... It was a magnificent win, equal to many since, and exceeded by only a few...

It's been 31 years since, and much has changed... But at it's core, a meeting between our two teams is today just as it was then - the fires burn deep and the rivalry is just intense in the hearts of those of us who witnessed it firsthand...

I'll be reliving many old memories as I watch my beloved Yellow Jackets on my personal Jumbotron here in northern VA...

I guess it was my sophomore year in high school. At the time, I really did not have a go to team. All I knew was I could not stand most of the kids that liked UGA. They were jerks. My senior year is when I fell in love with GT. Went to a game and I was hooked.

Carlos Reveiz of Tennessee missed 5 field goals in that game. He went from All SEC in 1985 to a nobody in one game.

Behind a kindergarten school desk. Fast forward 31 years.....in Mercedes benz stadium sec 221 screaming louder than I was back then.
