I recall one of he Carolina newspaper columnist calling Bruce a "power guard" to try and explain his game.

The last paragraph explains perfectly what college basketball is not, and GT basketball more specifically. For the GT fans that didn't have a chance to watch the teams BD played on, everything he says was spot on. They weren't the most talented overall, but they played hard and with heart.
