Yes, but that wasn’t the question I responded to.
? Those were wins NOT embarrassing loses...because of a hall of fame coach...

CBK needs 3 more years to gain maturity. He lost his composure because of some bad calls and caused his team to press causing turnovers...

CPJs persona focused his team after a terrible interception to make a great run out of bounds and give our now all pro kicker a chance...we need to learn let go of the last play and make the best of the next...

What/when was the last GT football game in which NONE of these 5 things happened?

1. the offense was often WEAK---RARELY executing offensive series/plays that were impressive gaining significant yardage and eventually scoring easily
2. the defense was often WEAK---RARELY imposing their will, making the opponents offense stagnant resulting in many 3 & outs
3. the special teams play was NOTHING SPECIAL
4. the coaching staff made some inexplicable game management decision
5. in general, the entire team and game experience from a fan's perspective is VERY difficult to watch and enjoy.

Or put another way, when did GT football last look really good and we could watch the game actually expecting to win and win comfortably and so therefore it was VERY enjoyable? Did this last happen in Johnson's tenure at Tech? Maybe this fan experience only happens for bigger, more historically successful programs like Alabama or Penn State. GT Football is so hard to watch.
VMI this season. Yes I know it was a terrible FCS team, but still fairly recently.

Hell, you could argue GSU this season as well, and they beat Vandy who in turn just beat us.

rome wasn’t built in a day. I’m way happier here than how I was feeling three years ago.

Yes, but even in that game where we won easily, it was our offense being unstoppable. We still gave up 34 points and had to keep scoring. I'm just saying that except in some of Paul's era we haven't won comfortably due to lack of defense against P5 teams.

Actually, our game at Louisville in 2018 where we won 66-31 was another good example of a comfortable win - I was at that one.
