What happened is that our players keep reading the coach’s comments that they are “elite” and they believe it to they point of not being focused and ready to play

Off chance that the Mason direct snap was a pass. The OL pass set and Mason has a pretty good arm. Not a great scheme since they just manned up, which we could have gotten going to five wides with our QB taking the snap.

That’s a play I’d like to see with TO. Some sort of reverse/option or direct snap for a bomb down field.

Mason lettered three times as a centerfielder in baseball, so he can throw it enough, and from the look of it they were setting to pass. I think (imagine?) they were going to pop pass to JG in the Sean, which was there.

I would like to see the screen double pass that duke used on VT with Tobias, or a reverse off the wide zone with a throwback to JG. But that stuff only works if they respect your base O.
