A few years ago Todd was trying raise 120 million capital money to upgrade the facility’s and also build a new athletes building that be adjacent two Bobby Dodd stadium and said it be completed by 2020. Did they not raise enough money and had two canceled that idea?

Apparently the Athletic did an interview with Todd Stansbury. It's behind a pay-wall and I haven't read it. However, a poster on another GT sports blog said the article points out Tech's football revenue was near the bottom of the ACC. We've got to do better making money.

On the ACC special the other day he said they are in the final planning stages for floor plans/finish design for room layouts etc on The Edge Center. Said there are a lot of offices now but it will be more SA centered when complete

Among public ACC schools—the only ones reporting their finances—we’re last.
You can sort the USA Today list by conference. We’re 8th of the 8 teams listed.
Boston College, Syracuse, Wake Forest, Duke, and Miami are private. Pitt is private but “state-related”, like Penn State, and isn’t sharing their revenue numbers. Duke does very well with basketball revenue, and Miami seems to be about top 25 or so in revenue.
Out of the 14 team ACC, we’re probably 11th in revenue, likely leading BC, Wake, and Pitt. Syracuse (thanks, basketball) is doing better than us.

Nothing to counter your overall point, but in the Jeff Shultz article referenced in The Athletic thread, he sources data from US DoE for the year ending June 2020 to obtain total revenue for all ACC schools. We're next to last, ahead of only Wake Forest. Close to BC, though.

TStan has some work to do. Catching up to an FSU won’t happen soon, but catching and passing Virginia Tech should be a target. Growing another $10MM+ per year is a smart mid-term goal.

You know we can't depend on Todd Stansbury to do everything. Tech fans really need to help out on building revenue. Take a look at all of the $25 tickets available for the Northern Illinois game in just two weeks. If we could get folks just to buy up the $25 tickets and give them away, that would be helpful to the program.

We also need the students to show up too.
