Not as many people leave Atlanta from GT as you would expect. We need to get those folks into the stands.

According to the alumni association report there are 42% of 155k worldwide alumni in the state of Georgia. That is 65k GT alumni.

There are 90k Georgia Alumni in just the Atlanta area for comparison (https://alumni.uga.edu/chapters/metro-atlanta/)

Yeah, I assume if you look at the numbers for the SEC programs people here want to compete with, it will be almost all Atlanta/Nashville, with some Dallas and Charlotte on the side.

65k alumni probably equates to what - 100k+ in terms of family members.

I think I read somewhere that 35% of graduates give to the school and 8% give to athletics. We simply need to find a way to create more athletic fanaticism rather than just academic fanaticism.

I get it. But our fandom shouldn’t be fair weather. Makes sense for sidewalk fans...but for alumni NO WAY. We should unconditionally be behind our student athletes.
