Week two uniforms vs Western Carolina

Yea the stripes/numbers match the helmet, which they easily should - it's basically paint on the cloth. The pants themselves did not match at all, the helmet and stripes are a much paler gold.

Here's a hot take - we should get rid of all metallic and make everything match the pants.

I would also prefer the gold to be a dark mustard gold, which would be totally unique in college football, has been used for Tech uniforms of the past, and contrasts well with white, allowing us to get rid of the blue uniforms and return to using blue only as a trim color or not at all

I actually like the blue uniforms. More so the jerseys than the pants. As for the mustard yellow jerseys/pants, they pose the same problem. Gold helmets don't match at all. Honestly, the Gold helmets work bust with G/W/W and G/B/W/ We should probably wear white helmets when we wear either gold jerseys or pants.

I personally hate the white helmets. rather wear gold 100% of the time. but that's just me and i know not everyone agrees

While I like the white helmets, I prefer the gold helmets myself. I was speaking more from a color matching standpoint.

I don't like white helmets on anyone. Arizona cardinals and colts are probably the exception, but white helmets in general are a no go for me. look cheap and basic.

I think if you do a pearlescent white instead of a flat white they can look pretty sharp.

I thought the gold helmets looked ok and it seemed that all of the gold matched except for the pants that looked almost mustardy to me.

I'm not totally sold on the shiny gold trim but if that is what it takes to reduce the number of shades of gold then that's good.
