I usually don't wade into uniform debates, but I have to say...these look really, really good.

The gold helmets matched the metallic piping on the pants almost exactly. Noticed it from the stands last night. It was a good look.

Yea the stripes/numbers match the helmet, which they easily should - it's basically paint on the cloth. The pants themselves did not match at all, the helmet and stripes are a much paler gold.

Here's a hot take - we should get rid of all metallic and make everything match the pants.

I wonder if future generations will look back in awe at our past ability to make metallic gold cloth in the same fashion as we marvel at how the pyramids were constructed??? man, those were the days!

Oh, they can…it’s just not a desirable material anymore. Not in look, but weight, fit, flex, etc. Somebody will prob get it figured soon. Maybe someone from our materials school should head that up. They do that over there?
