Found this vintage GT hat at a house we’re renting in St. Simons. Would love to know just how old this hat might be. Would be a awesome GT hat to replicate.

I got one of those. White is sort of yeller after a dozen military moves & 3 more since I been out but it’s still hanging in there.

Mine looks identical so it couldn’t be 50’s. It’s possible it’s late 60’s and I inherited in a drunken stupor, but more than likely I bought it and it’s closer to mid/late 70’s.

I have one just like it , bought down around the Tech Tunnel in late 70’s.

I have that hat but mine has the wasp looking yellow jacket on it.

A friend of mine whom I just asked said that according to a NCAA logo site, the old yellow jacket was used through 1977, and in 1978 Buzz became our official logo

I remember placing a decal of that same yellow jacket on my 1981 car during 1982 or 83.
