So bottom line is we have to win 4 of 5 to set ourselves up. 3 may be ok, but then we’d have to end on a run. It’d be good to get out ahead of this. Tomorrow we should win big. Then we MUST beat UVA at home to get a big win. Split the other two and we’d be ok, but we should really win both.

Beating UVA and Duke here is almost a must. Stealing one at VT and Clemson would be huge too! But losing tomorrow, all that goes out the window. We can’t afford any let downs at home.

Someone tell me what I am overlooking, but instead of crowding all of these postponed/rescheduled games into an impossibly short period of time, why can't we just expand the season into mid to late March. Instead of March Madness we would have April Madness. The situation that the Jackets had to deal with last weekend ---two games in less than 48 hours while the other team is totally rested ---is totally unfair. Our kids had no legs after halftime. And we are obviously not the only ones 'suffering' as it were, it's a lot of teams in this year of Covid-19. So why doesn't NCAA think of the health of the players ---and the collegiate game ---for once and do the right thing?
You’re overlooking that Louisville was also scheduled to play two games in less than 48 hours. Just happened that their Saturday game got postponed due to Covid, an unpredictable factor that likely will not be resolved by April.

As to this current stretch, we are scheduled for a competitive disadvantage. I am not sure how much GT is at the ACC’s mercy vs. we had a hand in agreeing to this. In the end it doesn’t matter. “Fight with one hand tied behind your back, no excuses”.

Just took a look at it and we are playing 4 games in one week. We’re playing everything on 2 days rest. We have Virginia on wed and Clemson Friday who just played yesterday....has what 6 days rest? Talk about some booool shiiiiii!

We have to go all out for that UVA win and hope to scrape maybe one more. But that’s just a ridiculously hard schedule. I really hope we take it far in the ACC tourney or just win it outright.

Be a good time to go on a C19 quarantine. Pull an Ohio St. Didn’t hurt them getting into the CFP.

Yea, luckily only clemson is away and 2 hours is nothing travel wise. I feel like we have to go all in to beat UVA and clemson as those are the highest quality opponents. Maybe push the bench minutes for pitt bc at 3-11 we don’t want to lose vs BC but a loss to pitt wouldn’t be devastating

We don’t have the record right now. If we had beat ga state, uva once, Duke, Mercer...yeah that might work
The only good thing about our record is that the Mercer and GSU games aren't costing us the NCAA bid. Even with those as wins, we're not a tournament resume

uva game down. What is plan B? Devoe didn't show up again and little bench.

Plan A is still in effect. Plan A was to only lose to the teams above us in the standings in the final 9 games, which would have us go 7-2. Possibly losing to Clemson as well to go 6-3. That plan is still in effect. Need to finish 6-2 now if we can.

We needed to steal one from either Virginia or Clemson.

We still have Pittsburgh, Boston College, Miami, and Wake Forest left. If we don't win those, we have bigger problems.

Gotta find 2 more wins out of @Clemson, @Virginia Tech, home vs Syracuse (most likely) home vs Duke (most likely).

6-2 puts us at 11-7 in the ACC, which may be 5th or 6th place, and 15-9 overall.

The ACC #5 plays the ACC #12/13 the day after they play a game.
The ACC #6 plays the ACC #11/14 the day after they play a game.

12/13 will likely be some combination of NC State, Wake Forest, and Boston College.
11 will likely be some combination of Pittsburgh, Duke, and Notre Dame (hopefully its Pittsburgh).

The #5 then plays #4.
The #6 then plays #3.

The point here is that we have a reasonable list of opponents down the stretch. Play well against them and we're set up to have a reasonable opponent in at least the first game.

Virginia Tech, Florida State, Louisville, and North Carolina are all battling for those #3/#4 spots right now. We've beat half of them already. The interesting thing is that all those 4 teams play each other a lot down the stretch. We have an easier schedule than them. If we can find some games to steal and get to 11 or 12 wins in ACC play, we could finish with a pretty high seed.
