It opened at 6 or 6’ and has been bet down. They really haven’t played much tough competition except Notre Dame and that looks a lot less impressive after Saturday night. I am somewhat surprised it opened that high too

In Jacksonville this Saturday however, UF is ranked higher than them in both polls. Go figure

Because it just means more. Now if Georgia wins, Florida won't lose much ground because Georgia really was the better team. If Georgia loses, they won't lose much ground because Florida was the higher ranked team.

Remember:
1) At the end of 2016, LSU finished ranked #13 at only 8-4. Florida was ranked #14 at 9-4. Auburn #25 at 8-5. The SEC had 4 teams ranked with 4 or more losses.
2) In 2017 the SEC had 3 teams ranked at the end of the season with 4 losses, including LSU at #10 at 10-4.
3) Last year in 2018 at the end of the season the SEC had 3 teams ranked in the top 7 with at least 3 losses.

It just always means more.
