I think I heard in a different game that a player ejected for targetting has to sit the first half of the next game So do we have to play the first half at Clem without Adam? Please tell me that's wrong.

No we don't. You are ejected for 2 halves. Since he was gone in the first half, he'll won't miss any of the next game.
