I likely missed a few folks, but I just went through our new transfers for this season...starting with the 2020 class, 2019, 2018, and 2017, and including transfers, we will have on our roster in 2020 (by at least 1 rating service):
* 5 Stars: 1
* 4 Stars: 19

Doesn't that just look crazy to see on paper?

While I was going through guys, there were also countless guys 0.1 or 1 point away from 4-stars on Rivals, 247, and ESPN.

Do you have a list of names? Would be interested to see a breakdown of positions/years. Feel like we have a lot of 4*s on Defense.

All these are 4-stars by Rivals unless also noted in parenthesis.
5 Stars: Anntoneous Clayton (Transfer)
4 Stars: Derrick Allen, Myles Sims, Marquez Ezzard (Transfer)
2020 Class: Miles Brooks, Bryce Gowdy, Ryan King (ESPN)
2019 Class: Jordan Yates, Jamious Griffin, Wesley Walker (ESPN)
2018 Class: Jaylon King, Justice Dingle, James Graham, TK Chimedza (ESPN)
2017 Class: Gentry Bonds, Tre Swilling, Bruce Jordan-Swilling, Kaleb Oliver, Jaytlin Askew (ESPN), Jaquan Henderson (ESPN)

So that's actually 20.

One clarification - Gentry Bonds is no longer on the team.

I don't put much stock in ESPN rankings but your overall point is solid, and I am excited about it.

There were also a few corner cases that I did not include. For example, Rivals originally had TK as a 4-star, but he got downgraded after he committed to GT.

Now that they have transferred to Tech, their star ratings will all be retroactively reduced 1.25. (n)

CGC has proved he can get the kids to the flats, now all he has to do is coach them up to their potential and we will see great things at tech.

Thanks for doing this. Useful information. I'm looking forward to seeing what we get from the 2017 - 18 4 star kids this year; they're all about ready to contribute. We'll see soon.
