15. Georgia Tech RB Synjyn Days
The former quarterback continued his season-ending tear in the Orange Bowl, leading the Yellow Jackets' offensive charge versus Mississippi State with 171 yards and three scores on the ground.

8. Georgia Tech QB Justin Thomas
The Yellow Jackets capped an improbable season with an equally improbable spanking of Mississippi State. None of this would have been possible without Thomas, who wrecked the Bulldogs for 171 yards and three scores on the ground and 125 yards and a touchdown through the air.

(actually, Justin had 121 yards rushing, but hey, he got the positive press).

I think they used to a modified calculation to determine how many yards JT could have run for if it weren't for onside kicks. That and they kept having to stop counting because he kept running over the goal line. Really hurt his numbers on a couple occasions.
