Exactly how often do we get to engage in fluffy fan talk around here?!I’ve really enjoyed this thread. To be sure it is fluffy fan talk but I’ve been really thirsty for that.
I liked Brook but thought he played for Morrison.A vote for Brook Steppe. 2 time ALL-ACC on some of Cremins' first teams and spent 5 years in the league.
Brook was a carryover and played in Cremins' first year (81-82).I liked Brook but thought he played for Morrison.
He was the star that season for sure. He and Goza we're the senior leaders on the team then.Brook was a carryover and played in Cremins' first year (81-82).
We went to the finals the next season. Imagine how good that team would have been with Bosh.I believe Bosh came in with Jack. They went to the NIT, Bosh left and they went to the finals two years later (I think)
Man that dude could play. Imagine that 03-04 team with both Bosh AND Nelson.I thought Ed Nelson was going to be REALLY good for us. Unfortunately, he decided to transfer to UConn to ride the bench.
I didn’t realize Ed Nelson got a shot in the NFL.Man that dude could play. Imagine that 03-04 team with both Bosh AND Nelson.
I've seen all over my 65 yrs watching.-- Yunkus over Hammonds /Salley/Forrest, Price over Marbury (for longevity)I didn't get to see Yunkus/Price/Salley play in a GT uniform. The top 5 GT players for me since I started following GTBB are:
1. Kenny Anderson
2. James Forrest
3. Matt Harpring
4. Stephon Marbury
5. Travis Best/Jose Alvarado/Jarett Jack
#5 is really hard because those players were all pivotal and had moments of transcendence for our program. Didn't want to leave any of them out.
"...Price, Anderson, Yunkus, Scott, and Harpring..."I've seen all over my 65 yrs watching.-- Yunkus over Hammonds /Salley/Forrest, Price over Marbury (for longevity)
