To the Georgia Tech students and The Georgia Tech Marching Band last night. I admit I sometimes go through the motions when the Star Spangled Banner is played, but damn they did a super performance along with members of the alumni band. The students are becoming our 12th man especially during critical moments. One more thing, the days of people saying there are not pretty girls at GT are over. Move over Ole Miss.

Man, I noticed the pretty girls also. It makes me wish I was 50 years younger, better looking and had a good personality.

There are 3 keys to success. Most of us come up short in all 3 or is it come up short in 2 and lacking in the 3rd?

Joseph Shumpeter often said he had three ambitions: to be the greatest economist in the world, to be best horseman in Austria, and to be the greatest lover in Vienna. Someone who heard this asked him if he had succeeded.

Shumpeter replied, "Two out of three ain't bad."

He basically figured out how America was going to implode 100 yrs ago and has pretty much nailed it. Hard to argue he wasn't the greatest Economist of his time.

Well. … you could, of course. But not on this part of the board. No doubt he was a great economist by any estimation, however.
