Timeout before our long field goal

Wow, what a game! Richt did us a huge favor by calling that timeout right before the 53-yard field goal. We were not really close to being set and the play clock was dwindling down. That was a big mistake by Richt. I'll take it.

He did, but the play clock was around 5 or 6 seconds when he called the timeout. It could have been close to a delay of game.

If we get a delay of game penalty there then we probably would have lost the game. There's no way Butker could have made a 58-harder. Thank goodness Richt is HORRIBLE at game management.

It looked so perfectly straight down the middle while I was watching it live on TV. I was thinking in my head, "this can't be short, can't be short." It was not short, but oh so close to being heartbreak city. Heck of a kick by Butker in a pressure-packed situation.

Watching it live at the game, it looked like it was going to be short. Even the UGA fans around started shouting "it's short" and started cheering, but then the ball just kept going. The refs didn't signal that it was good at first, but you could tell by the way the UGA fans in the endzone went silent and a couple of GT people just past the goal post on the field were acting that it was good. I went down about 35 rows and found Butker's mom and gave her a hug. She was all smiles.
