I don't think it is designed to be a speed option. I think MJ was suppose to run... their was another play ran earlier just the same.

20 looks like it had the numbers if Parker could have hurdled that big banana peel.

Not a bad decision by MJ to do what CPJ very likely told him -- look for a seam and get a few more yards to set up the kick.

A delayed drag route by the LABack would have been nice in play 19. Instead, max protection protected nada.

19: leverage beats size every time

20: Even tho it's a designed keep, if MJ carried the ball with 2 hands giving the impression there may be a pitch, he would've manipulated the pitch guy to stay wide with his assignment and created a natural seam for big yards

Right. But this plays shows we should put in a speed option that sets up like a QB draw. A pitch on this play is an easy touchdown (on 3rd and 17).

We run the QB draw a lot in passing situations and a speed option off that look would be interesting.
