Wiley is great!! He must spend tons of time studying baseball triva & following current baseball goings-ons, as he always has a story or an antidote to fill up that dead air time you have in baseball broadcasting. He mixes in the right amount of humor and "homerism" as well as keeping the listener informed on whats going on in the game. I think he has a great future ahead.

So glad he is going for it. An old friend from Westminster was our baseball and football PA / announcer and a huge tech fan until he found out that Tech didn't offer a degree in journalism. He only applied to 'Cuse and UGA and turncoated into a dwag since UGA was by far the cheaper than 'Cuse. Not surprisingly, he ended up majoring in whatever nonsense at UGA and becoming an IT recruiter, literally working for Tech people. Some of this can be attributed to Westminster now having an award winning media / broadcasting program (ridiculous) but a lot of it is on Wiley for persevering.
