Nice article on the team at http://www.ramblinwreck.com/sports/m-basebl/spec-rel/060214aaa.html

Later today, I'll go through the entire class. It is often said that the GT 2013 class was the ninth rated class.

But the two highest rated players used in that rating never came (drafted and accepted - Hart and McClure). And the lowest ranked player, Ben Parr, is doing just fine and had the best year of the 7 pitchers we retained in the class.

It's going to be a lot of fun watching these guys get better.

I thought this was a music thread on the WHO ;)

I'is going to be fun with theses guys and the guys that I see so far (2015 early signings(maybe)) coming in. Things last year kinda made me feel stale. This fresh team and the things that they did..makes a freshman outta me.

Here's why I'm so excited about this team. They had 40% of the At Bats this year and 26% of the innings pitched. That's a lot for Freshman on a team.

Our weak area was hitting, and they should get a lot better (as many players do) with summer ball. On the pitching side, Parr really emerged about 6 weeks ago and should be very good. Zac Ryan showed some flashes and should get better too. Next year getting King and Pitts back will help a lot.

{Sorry, for some reason, the embed feature doesn't seem to be working (or I'm too tired and doing something stupid).}

The draft is coming up this weekend. I've started updating my database and think that we are going to get minimal impact this year ...... more later.
