I think forecasting next year is a crapshoot. We were lucky that neither Lammers or Okogie saw any serious injuries. I think having Guyue improve could be a major step, and take some load off Lammers.
We already have a bunch of freshmen. If Alvarado and Haywood have close to the impact that Okogie did, we should get a lot more points and a lot more wins before conference play.
We lose some seniors in Heath, Heyward, and Q. (At least I think we lose them, since they're seniors. I'd be stunned to find out different). Q is a tough one to replace. I'm hoping a strong grad transfer or two come in and are at Stevens level of play. I don't know if that's realistic. Especially since I have no idea who might actually come here.
It's hard for me to believe we don't score more next year, with many more 3's. I don't know what happens to defensive efficiency and turnovers though.
Since we only know two of the 5-7 new players we expect for next year, there's just a lot of murkiness looking ahead. Two years out I feel more confident, but Lammers is gone then.
