Yes. . . that. . . was. . . a . . . cold. . . game! My (future) wife went VPI. We were sitting in the expensive seats of my boss (45 yard line). My wife was standing and clapping her mittens together (kind of a thump-thump sound) the whole game, saying "Go Hokies!". I pretended I didn't know her :). Scottie Sisson was the greatest.

That was fun. We tend to forget just how good Al was at play-by-play. Wes was good too, but not quite to Al's standard. I miss him and it was good to hear him and Kim again.

On a present note: we should run more sets like we did then. We have a William Bell - Mason - and, imho, we aren't doing enough to exploit his power running. We've done it one time this year - at da U - and it worked. If we ran more under-center sets I think we would have greater success. Oh, and Graham looks a lot like Shawn, doesn't he? Now, if he only had that 1990 crew of WRs …
