Holding to block is legal if infront of blocker. Once defender makes a move by the blocker , the blocker cant impede the defender.

On this block the blocker did not properly hold the defender in place then had to let go.

Ok - if you guys say no holding but just seems to me he grabbed him after he went by and it was key to the play. In other words, the dlinemen would have had a sack if he had not grabbed him.

I don't think that would have been a penalty with all the "holding" on DEs I have seen...
