Well damn. Big hit to our defense. Prayers for Sylvain, hoping for a quick recovery.

Says he plans to return next year. Eddie Kelly, ET, Josh Robinson, Noah Collins all capable of playing that end spot.

Next man up. It's harsh, but it's how it is. They've been getting all the reps this week and should have some quality film over the next 2 games to correct minor mistakes and get better.

This is definitely a loss. No way to sugarcoat it, and i feel for Sylvain as he had high expectations this year and has battled injuries his whole career.

But in the grand scheme of this team, sometimes the setbacks end up helping long term.
1) It will give us a chance to get Sylvain back (hopefully even better) next year in Key's 2nd year which will hopefully be even more competitive than this year
2) It gives some of the less experienced guys a chance to step up. Look at what happened with CPL last year when King went down..we all thought we were screwed

Hopefully a full year off and his surgury quickly he can come back stonger and faster. He can study plenty of film during downtime and I am sure he will be the biggest supporter on the sideline. Now lets make sure he can travel to our bowl game with us.

When did he go out? Early? How did he look? I haven’t gone back and analyzed him particularly.

Really glad he’s coming back. That just means NFL dreams. People must be telling him he’s got what it takes.
