He should have pump-faked and thrown to the back who released late to the opposite side. Assuming PJ bites on the pump, there's a ton of green to be had over there.

I'm not certain the TE didn't cut his route off too soon..if he hasn't stopped and fought it in stride as well he'd have been more likely to make more yards.

As for PJ...he had enough cushion to make the play on the RB in the flat even if he bit on a pump fake. That would have gone for no more yards imo unless he flat out missed the tackle...which he wasn't prone to do.

Other than the lack of pressure, this was great defense. The only thing the QB could've/should've done was let the wheel route develop by the #2. As the RB @dressedcheeseside, a pump fake shouldn't pull the backside LB because his pass key is the weak side #2 receiver which is the RB.

For those that say we never do it....note the WR at the bottom of the screen getting jammed at the Los.

For those that say only we play 5-10 yards off....pay attention to the DBs on the opposing Ds in any of our games.
