I love beating Syracuse. Can’t stand that team. Crying Boeheim got his way in the first half. They called two fouls the final 16 minutes after he got his technical. Another huge win!!! Let’s keep it rolling.

Anytime we beat any of the Big East refugees, especially Boeheim, it's a great win.

I’m a young immature 38 yr old that has been watching sports and comprehending sports since I was 9 yo. The officiating 1st half of this sporting event was the worst I’ve ever seen in all sports competitions.
And **** Jim Boeheim, Don Chaney (rip) was right about that absolute piece of ****. **** that guy.

I love to see this team win without relying on the 3-ball. We have the shooters to win 3-ball games, but it's nice to see us do it pounding it inside. Totally dissected Boehiem's vaunted 2-3 zone. Love how many ball handlers we can put on the floor in crunch-time.

The fouls at the end were horrendous. There's no way you call that last foul on Alvarado. The officiating was horrible. Syracuse had some bad calls too, but not as egregious as some of those called against us.

Dolezaj had 5 fouls in 10 minutes.

I agree - we took what they gave us. In fairness though, the Syracuse 2-3 hasn't been vaunted for a few years (KenPom #93 before today). Because of their limitations, they intentionally overplay and try to take away 3's at the risk of giving up 2's. And there is no effective center to prevent what we did most of the day - dump-offs and around the rim buckets.

Not sure I agree that it was material, especially when factoring in 1) we played man the entire game, and 2) the longer than usual Syracuse press.

And even if true, it reinforces that there are ways we can choose to play that avoids needing to play a deep bench.
