That's awesome. My sons would plunk down some serious allowance money for some GT stuff like that. Probably would get some Oregon stuff as well if they had the chance.

Yes, it's usually pretty low key though and with a lot fewer items. I'd contact someone in the equipment room to ask.

Yes, it's usually at end of calendar year rather than school year.

Yes, I used to go to the athletic department sale every year when I was in undergrad. You can get some really good stuff. The majority of it is surplus from the various teams but some of it is actually player worn. Everything from shoes to warm ups and even jackets and bags were available. The sale was usually in early December if I remember right and wasn't highly publicized.

30 years ago it took place shortly AFTER the football season was over.

If anyone finds out and can let us know, that'd be great.
