We live out of state, so we typically only make 1 home football game a year. I try to study the player roster with pictures so that when they came down yellow jacket alley I can address them by name. Brandon was one of those guys that when you called his name, he'd look you in the eye with that big famous smile. It was unique to him. Most players either had headphones on and wouldn't hear, or they'd nod their head in acknowledgement. He would give you that big beaming smile.......man.

He was a fine young man. His lose was a devastating one for his family and the Atlanta community, which he had just begun to serve. It was equally significant for Tech in terms of both talent and team morale. I was very surprised and saddened when I heard he had died; he was one of my particular favorites on the team.
