Boy, did he show his stupidity on that statement. I personally think ONE of the reasons Vad left was because he knew deep down that Justin would beat him out for the starting position.

Hardly a whim for certain. He had to see the writing, and he had to know he could practice option football until he went blind and he just cannot play under center. Recruited with best intentions, accepted with best intentions, and then transferred into a real good situation for him as Thomas seized the offense. I think he got better and better as the season went on, and by the time he hit Clemson -- a great defense -- Georgia, FSU and MSU he made Johnson's offense a work of art. Yep, let's start the season.
