Well, took another look out at the stats and ratings, and they should be getting accurate about now.

KenPom : #111 , fairly unlucky, weak strength of schedule, #41 defense, #221 offense.
Sagarin: #143, #257 schedule (wow), best win is Northwestern, next to last in the ACC (yeesh, Pittsburgh, we're getting warm standing next to your dumpster fire)
ESPN "Power Index": BPI #134, RPI #218. 14/15 in the ACC

Points/Game: 64.9 (335th)
Points Allowed/Game: 63.1 (27th)
Rebounds/Game: 34.3 (256th)
Assists/Game: 13.5 (210th)

Not a huge surprise, but the numbers say what you can avoid by just looking at the bright spots of the game--offense is disjointed, not passing well, too many turnovers, not getting rebounds. Defense is good. Haven't really played the teams that would get us ready for conference play.

Just as a comparison, but not a perfect one, I have the KenPom ratings from last year when GT was 10-6:

Rank #128, Luck #6, Overall SOS #83 but non-conference #305, #49 defense, #245 offense.

This year, we've had good luck once (Northwestern), and more injury problems. I suppose we can get hot, but it would be a huge help if some players could effectively spell Lammers.
