I graduated that December stech. Was at the Bama game and all home games. I remember my crowd was upset that we weren't ranked after the Bama game. the year before we were 1-9-1. That's why the 3 win seasons we have had over the last 3-4 years don't rankle me as bad as they do some. We (us "mature" fans) have seen the really, really dark days and know that these too shall pass, just like our 3IAR years and the NC year.

I think maybe Valdosta, but not GA state. It would look awful if we lost in a scrimmage to another ATL team. Would hurt the brand. A lose/lose option to me.

Play Valdosta, or some other random school like a Division 3 team. Reinhardt has a team. That would be good. Would be fun to see us score 100 points.

The point of spring practice is to win games in the fall. Younger players will get more PT and more coaching in an intrasquad game than in a scrimmage.
