Hard to figure out who the winner was without knowing the $$$. If Charter got DIS to throw in DIS+ and ESPN+ without a significant bump in the subscriber fee, I'd be surprised. It does sound like Charter had the better hand tho'...
That was the snag. Chapter wanted those included with the new contract.

Overall it feels like Charter came out better.
I'm guessing Disney probably ultimately got the carriage fee it wanted for ESPN, but it looks like it had to give up on a number of channels and also had to provide the ad-supported Disney+ to cable.

Overall it feels like Charter came out better.
Caught the tail end of a segment on CNBC (xm), so I didn't catch the speaker's name. His take was DIS got a bump for ESPN and Charter shed channels that it didn't want to carry. Overall, he felt that DIS came out ahead.
