Old guy back left in photo is Jack Hill, state senator from Reidsville and chairman of Senate Appropriations Committee. Great guy, too. Back right is Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle, a Georgia Southern grad. Don't know right off who the three lawmakers on PJ's right are.

I am too lazy to do the research but suspect someone already knows the answer. What Georgia districts (geographical areas in the state) were represented by the sponsoring legislators?

I appreciate Coach Johnson's professionalism at these events.... He invariably begins his comments with "It's an honor to be here representing Georgia Tech, the players, assistant coaches, and staff" etc.. he never accepts these individual accolades for himself alone.. thank you for that Coach, recognized and appreciated!

Jack Hill is the 4th Senate District. That's Tattnall, Bulloch, Evans, Effingham, Emanuel, Candler, I think. That's big Bulldog and Georgia Southern country. Tech's generally a distant third in allegiances in those parts.

Tattnall...isn't that where Smelter came from?

Thanks!
Largest rattlesnake I ever saw was in Effingham County. My children to this day refer to it as "the great Effingham County snake disaster."
