Random opinion: RPO has made football worse. The fact that refs don't consistently call linemen down field means that you can't really play read and react defense in any meaningful way, and you have to just gamble and hope to turn a big defensive play. You'll have your LB keying the guards 7 yards down field on a run, and suddenly it's a pass. It's f'n stupid, and makes the game far less fun to watch, to coach, to be a fan of. They REALLY REALLY need to cut it back to 2 yards (honestly, I'd say make it the LOS like they're supposed to), or make it a 10 yard penalty and start calling it. Something has to change.

I agree about calling LOS strictly. That should make life harder for linemen, but easier for refs. The first year of calling it strict will be a mess.

I can recall some (only a few) people wishing that Leach had been our coach after CPJ. The post game quotes from him that I have read are below the low road and I'm glad GT didn't go (or possibly even consider) that route. MSU administration ought to be embarrassed about what happened today and how Leach responded, but then, hey, it's SEC football, so probably not.
