I don't think PJ was still at Hawaii when that happened. He left there after 94. Two years as OC at Navy, five years as HC at GSU, six years as HC at Navy, seven years at Tech.

Georgia hammered Hawaii 41-10 in the Sugar Bowl after the 2007 season.

You're right, I assumed he was talking about a bowl in the 90s and blanked on the recent history. I guess Paul was referring to Hawaii under June Jones as example of the double standard for orthodox vs. rogue coaches.
