There are definitely some useful new features that were included in the upgrade, while most of them are in the backend, here are two that stand out:

• Selective quoting: For the advanced/detailed posters that like to quote and reply to specific parts of someone's post point by point, you can now select the text that you want to quote and the site will ask you if you want to multi-quote or reply-quote that selection. I do believe you have to be using one of the modern browsers for this to work.

• Thread bans: Moderators can now ban people from replying to specific threads. I can see this as being pretty useful. I hope we won't have to unnecessarily lock a thread just because one or two people are spoiling it for everyone else.
